CSEP Staff Profiles


CSEP Director: Jeanette Pinkham, MSW

Jeanette started her work with the Child Support Enforcement Program in January 2016. However, she is a long term Nez Perce Tribal Employee and has worked with the Tribe since July 2005, with all her work being in the Child Protection Services Program. Jeanette will continue her work with children and families by remaining on the Lapwai School District Indian Parent Committee, Women’s Outreach Program Domestic Violence Advisory Board, and also remain on the Idaho Children’s Trust Fund Board. Jeanette is an enrolled Nez Perce Tribal member and grew up in Kamiah and graduated from there in 2001, she graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work in 2005 from LCSC, and she went on to receive her Masters of Social Work Degree in 2008 from Boise State University. She was the first of her maternal grandparents Marcus and Jeanette Oatman Sr. grandchildren to get a Master’s Degree. Her parents are Albert Pinkham, Jr. and Mary Galbreath. Jeanette is married to George Moody, they have three children with one to be born January 2018. She enjoys spending time with her family which includes attending children’s sports activities, being in the mountains, or at home.

Administrative Intake Specialist: Hattie Brown

Hattie Brown is the Administrative Intake Specialist and has been with Child Support Enforcement Program for 4 years. Hattie is an enrolled member of the Nez Perce Tribe and lives in Lewiston, ID with her husband and three children. She graduated from Lapwai High School in 2005 and worked as a deli clerk, wait staff, and hostess for the Clearwater River Casino before coming over to the Child Support Program. Hattie enjoys what she does and likes working with a great team of leaders. On her spare time, Hattie keeps busy with her boys AAU basketball, soccer, and football while attending to her two year old daughter. She likes spending time with her family, camping, swimming, and Sunday drives to the mountains.




Administrative Financial Specialist: Verna Taylor

Verna was born in Lewiston, Idaho to Mary Lawrence & Mike Taylor and was raised in Lapwai by my grandma Joanne Taylor. Her Maternal Grandparents are Verna B. Carter & James Lawrence (both deceased) and her Paternal Grandparents are Joanne Taylor & Gale (Joe) Taylor. Verna is an enrolled member of the Nez Perce Tribe and has worked for the Nez Perce Tribe and tribal entities for 19+ years. In 1996, she graduated from Lapwai High School and also gave birth to her beautiful daughter Asia Imauni Isbell. She wasn’t a traditional student because she needed to work to take care of her daughter, but in 2007 she graduated with honors from Northwest Indian College with her AAS degree in Native American Studies and then later completed her courses at Lewis-Clark State College in 2012 for her BS degree in Business Management with a Minor in Business Administration. Verna joined the CSEP team in January 2013. She is very excited to announce that Asia will be a big sister soon…the Creator has blessed her with another little girl. She is due June 2016, it’s still a shock to Verna that after all these years she is pregnant again, but we are very happy and can’t wait for our little girl to get here. She is a 12th Man (Seahawk fan), love attending Seahawk games, hanging out with her family and friends, and just being home kicking back.”

Case Manager: Lana Rickman

Lana Rickman, Case Manager for the Nez Perce Tribe Child Support Program since April 2008. She has worked for the Nez Perce Tribe for the past 28 years in various programs. She began as a secretary and worked her way up into administration positions. Lana is a positive and supportive person to her coworkers, clients and community. She opens the lines of communication and assists in educating the public on child support issues. She states that, “We are here to serve our members, their families and the children.” The CSEP office is fortunate to have Lana as a team member..

 Case Manager: Sabrina Wakefield, LMSW


Sabrina Wakefield has been a Case Manager with CSEP since December, 2014. She received her Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Lewis-Clark State College in 2011, went on to receive a Master of Social Work Degree from Boise State University in 2012, and became licensed by the Idaho Board of Social Work Examiners in June 2012. Prior to coming to work for CSEP, she worked briefly as a Therapist, then as a Family Services Professional with the Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program for approximately two and a half years. Sabrina is approachable and eager to assist. She puts her social work skills to good use by supporting CSEP families with communication between parties & States, education of child support procedures, and arrangements that encourage consistent employment and payments. She has always had a heart for children and families, and believes wholeheartedly in the CSEP mission to utilize cooperation to nurture our children… our future..

CSEP Attorney: Jason A. Thomas

Jason Thomas is the CSEP attorney who represents our department in our court cases. Jason Thomas graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in History and graduated law school at the University of Idaho, College of Law. Before joining CSEP, Jason Thomas was in private practice in North Carolina, focusing mainly on criminal defense and family law. When not at work, he enjoys the game of golf and the outdoors by hiking, hunting, and fishing with his dog “Tuukka.”






Community Outreach Specialist: Rachel E. Ellenwood

Rachel E. EllenwoodRachel E. Ellenwood (also known as Chedda), is the newest member of the Child Support Enforcement Program team. She has one son Terrell Cassius. She is the daughter of Kub and Susie Ellenwood and graduated from Lapwai High School in 2001. She received her AAS from Northwest Indian College in 2013. Rachel recently graduated from Washington State University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Comparative Ethic Studies and has two minors in American Indian Studies and Women’s Studies in May 2017. In Rachel’s spare time, she enjoys watching her son play sports, going to the movies, drinking coffee, cruising the mountains, and spending quality time with her family. She comes to us with various work experience and is excited to be working in her home community again. ”
